I heard about Forums from our local sales rep, Gary Rorden, who, as a relatively new
believer, could not say enough about the impact his Forum group was having on him
personally. I was familiar with CBMC since two of my uncles had been very involved in
a Los Angeles chapter more than 40 years ago, but Forums was a new concept to me.

I’m fortunate to have been involved in small support groups ever since my
high school days. As I look back I can see how the Lord used each group
to minister to me at different stages of my life. What interested me in
Forums was when Scott McReynolds and Gary talked to me about
meeting with a group of businessmen that share in each other’s lives
and learn to integrate their faith in Christ into their businesses.
Receiving godly counsel from like-minded men going through the
same daily challenges I face was the main reason I joined.

The Forum group I am in now has far exceeded my expectations
spiritually, personally and businesswise. We have become a united
group of guys who support, challenge, and hold each other
accountable in all areas of our lives. Through the ups and downs
of the last 9 years our group has encouraged and supported each
other with prayer and biblical wisdom.

I would wholeheartedly recommend that any businessman at least
look into joining a Forum for the fellowship, counsel, and support.
The opportunities to be a witness for Christ in our businesses seem
to be more prevalent now than ever, and I believe having a group of
men praying for each other is invaluable.
